How do I set a background timeout on the MysteryVibe App?Updated a month ago

What is background timeout?

Most of us have multiple apps we are toggling between and using at the same time. However, if MysteryVibe’s App was put into the background and another app was used, like a phone call, music app or YouTube video, the MysteryVibe App automatically disconnected within a couple of minutes. This was problematic because when you returned to the Mysteryvibe App, you no longer had control of your MV device.

This feature has now been changed and we’ve added a setting in the app called Background Timeout which allows you to set when this disconnection happens so you can continue toggling apps while keeping staying connected to the MV device.

The options for the Background Timeout are now: 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes or 30 minutes.

How To Set Background Timeout

To update this setting, open the MysteryVibe App and go to Settings screen.

Step 1: Scroll down to find to Background Timeout and select.

Step 2: Choose the required timeout (15 minutes is a good choice!)

When you’re finished using your device and want to turn it off, disconnect from the Bluetooth connection - close the app - otherwise the Bluetooth connection continues and your device won’t power off.
