Here is a step-by-step guide: 

Step 1: Open the app.

Step 2: Select your device.

Step 3: Turn on your device.

Step 4: Turn Bluetooth pairing on your device by pressing and holding the button with a dot icon next to it for 2 seconds to activate Bluetooth. Your device will vibrate twice when Bluetooth is activated. It will be active for 30 seconds for you to connect in the next step. 

Note: Android needs location permission for the Bluetooth functionality to work, this is an internal Android step and is not used by the app. Newer iOS Apple products may install the app with Bluetooth switched off. To switch it on go to Settings - Apps -> MysteryVibe and make sure Bluetooth is switched on.

Step 5: Select “Tap to connect” on the app screen.

Step 6: The app will communicate with your device and see if there’s an update available. If yes, a prompt will appear prompting you to update. Click yes.

Step 7: Wait 7-10 minutes for update to complete. Don’t leave the page while it’s updating. 

Step 8: Once complete, your device will disconnect and reboot to install the update.

Step 9: If the update was successful, your device will run a test sequence where the lights will flash red, green, blue, and white, and each motor will vibrate.

Step 10: Once complete, close and reopen the app, and reconnect with your device if you want to use it.
