My phone is asking for a pin number when I try to connect. What should I do?Updated 16 days ago
Some Android phones will prompt you to enter a PIN number when connecting your device the app.
This PIN number is assigned by your phone, not by the app as we don't have any PINs in the app.
The most common PINs on Android are 0000, 000000, 1234 and 123456.
If you are still unable to connect, go to Settings -> Applications -> All -> Bluetooth Share and tap on Force Stop -> Clear cache -> Clear Data.
You should now be able to connect successfully.
If that still doesn't work, you can also erase your device pairing with your phone by going to Settings > Bluetooth, then select the device you want to unpair, and then click on Forget Device.
Note, that the MysteryVibe device must be switched on and placed in advertising mode for the phone to detect it. MysteryVibe devices typically advertise for a fixed period of 30 seconds.
If you're still having issues connecting please be so kind to contact us at [email protected].
